
The Oxford English Dictionary has finally agreed to what designers have known for a long time:
The “heart” symbol ♥ will now officially be included in the dictionary as a verb meaning “to love”. Of course the iconic NY tourism campaign spawned by Milton Glaser’s “I ♥ NY” is the most famous example of the symbol in action.
At this time, the Oxford English Dictionary has made no mention of iheartlogos. Maybe next edition…
